Engineering Manager - Node.js/Python

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our technology team. You will play a key role in shaping product architecture, guiding technical development, and mentoring engineers. This role demands both hands-on technical knowledge and strong leadership qualities. You'll be expected to collaborate across functions, ensure delivery quality, and maintain high performance standards throughout the engineering lifecycle.

Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers.

- Own the end-to-end product architecture and deployment strategy.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, and security protocols.

- Align closely with Product and Business teams to meet functional and strategic goals.

- Drive Agile development practices and ensure efficient project delivery.

- Monitor performance, guide troubleshooting, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Must-Have Skills :

- Hands-on experience designing and owning product/system architecture at scale.

- Strong hands-on backend development skills in Node.js, Python, or Java.

- Hands-on DevOps experience with Kubernetes - container orchestration, deployments, scaling, and production operations.

Skillset :

- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Proficient in database design, microservices architecture, and DevOps methodologies (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring).

- Proven track record in leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.

- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
