Summary

The primary purpose of the CAN (N&D Developer) role is to support the development and maintenance of CAN/CAN FD communication modules within Smart Display MCU projects, ensuring timely project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain CAN/CAN FD communication modules.
• Work on the implementation and integration of the AUTOSAR CAN stack.
• Manage CAN Network including wake-up and sleep scenarios.
• Implement diagnostics using UDS (ISO 14229).
• Configure AUTOSAR DCM/DEM modules.
• Ensure proper implementation of ISO-TP/CanTp for multi-frame communication.
• Support bootloader development, flashing sequence, and memory handling.
• Perform debugging and validation using CAN tools.
  
  

Must Haves:

• Strong understanding of CAN and CAN FD protocols.
• Experience with AUTOSAR CAN stack (CAN Driver, CanIf, PduR, CanTp, CanNm).
• Knowledge of CAN NM states and behavior.
• Strong diagnostics knowledge (UDS - ISO 14229).
• Experience with Transport Protocol (ISO-TP / CanTp).
• Understanding of bootloader and flashing process.
• Proficiency in Embedded C.
• Experience with tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, SocketCAN.
