SAP EWM Manager

Job Summary :

You will work on challenging SAP EWM projects for leading companies across various industries focusing on Automotive and contribute to the ongoing development of our strategy and consulting. We are looking for a highly skilled SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Consultant/Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP EWM processes and integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, QM and TM. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, understanding requirements, and delivering end-to-end solutions for warehouse operations.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- You advise our clients on SAP EWM, implement solutions, and optimize existing systems. Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for SAP EWM solutions.

- You analyze and design efficient warehouse and logistics processes using SAP EWM

- You take responsibility for customizing and further developing existing SAP EWM systems

- You support businesses in migrating to S/4HANA EWM

- You collaborate closely with clients and partners to develop tailor-made, innovative solutions

- You conduct workshops, training sessions, and testing

- Actively participate in pre-sales, RFP support and practice development.

Technical & Project Delivery Expertise :

- Design, configure, and implement EWM processes including :

1. Inbound, Outbound, and Internal Warehouse Processes

2. Warehouse Structure & Storage Control (POSC / LOSC)

3. Labor Management & Resource Management

4. Wave Management, Slotting & Rearrangement

5. Physical Inventory & Stock Reconciliation

6. Batch Management, Serial number management and Handling unit management

- Cross module integration - MM, SD, PP (Advance production integration), QM and TM

- Perform EWM system configuration including RF framework setup and customizing.

- Integrate SAP EWM with ERP (ECC/S4 HANA) and other systems such as SAP TM, third-party WMS, or MES.

- Support go-live, hypercare, and post-implementation activities.

- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

- Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, and training materials for business users.

- Collaborate with technical teams for enhancements, custom developments, and interface design.

- Participate in cutover planning, data migration, and performance testing.

Firm Contribution :

- Actively participate in pre-sales and RFP support:

- Prepare solution proposals, estimates, and presentations

- Demonstrate EWM capabilities to prospective clients

- Support business case creation and solution architecture discussions

- Contribute to practice development

- Build reusable assets, accelerators, and knowledge repository

- Mentor junior consultants and support internal capability building

Nice to have Skills :

- Knowledge of ABAP debugging for issue resolution.

- Experience with Fiori apps for EWM.

- Exposure to automation solutions like pick-by-voice, robotics, and their integration.

- Project management or team lead experience.
