Role Overview

\n

The Sales Officer (Offline Sales) will be responsible for managing and expanding Dermatouch’s offline sales network across Gujarat, focusing on General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) channels. The role involves handling primary and secondary sales , conducting market visits , and ensuring Dermatouch’s visibility, availability, and growth within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive primary and secondary sales across distributors, retailers, and key accounts within Gujarat.
\n
• Execute in-store promotions, sampling drives, and product activations in coordination with the marketing team.
\n
• Ensure product placement, visibility, and merchandising at all retail and distribution points.
\n
• Regularly visit the market to build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and beauty stores.
\n
• Identify and onboard new retail outlets to increase market coverage and product availability.
\n
• Monitor stock levels, distributor performance, and order fulfillment to meet sales targets.
\n
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to identify opportunities and challenges.
\n
• Maintain detailed reports of field visits, sales performance, and collections on a regular basis.
\n
• Work closely with internal teams for supply, marketing, and merchandising coordination.

Requirements

\n

\n
• Education: Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Marketing/Sales preferred).
\n
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in FMCG, Cosmetics, Skincare, or Personal Care sales — preferably handling General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) channels in Gujarat region.
\n
• Strong understanding of retail and distribution operations, merchandising, and channel management.
\n
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
\n
• Proficiency in market mapping and data-driven sales reporting.
\n
• Willingness to travel extensively across Ahmedabad and nearby cities within Gujarat.
\n
• Own vehicle preferred.
