Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with 4 - 6 years of expertise in building and maintaining automated software delivery pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and modern DevOps ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in infrastructure automation, containerization, cloud platforms, CI/CD implementation, and production support, enabling organizations to deliver reliable and scalable applications efficiently.

This role requires close collaboration with software development, quality assurance, security, and operations teams to streamline deployment processes, improve system reliability, and implement DevOps best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize end-to-end Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.

- Deploy, manage, and maintain containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Administer and support cloud environments across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and version control using Git-based platforms.

- Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, or PowerShell to eliminate manual operational tasks.

- Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure platform availability and performance.

- Work closely with developers and QA teams to improve build reliability, deployment efficiency, and release quality.

- Incorporate security controls and DevSecOps practices into deployment pipelines.

- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application performance issues.

- Support production environments by handling deployments, incident resolution, disaster recovery, and high-availability operations.

- Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and infrastructure standards.

Required Skills :

Core Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and automation methodologies.

- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

- Proficiency with Git, GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar version control platforms.

- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.

- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.

- Practical experience working with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Scripting proficiency using Shell, Python, or PowerShell.

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps Pipelines, or equivalent solutions.

- Solid knowledge of Linux administration and system management.

- Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, or Datadog.

- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Hands-on experience implementing DevSecOps practices.

- Knowledge of microservices-based architecture and container orchestration.

- Experience with Helm, Argo CD, OpenShift, or similar deployment platforms.

- Familiarity with SonarQube, Nexus Repository, Artifactory, or related DevOps tools.

- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

- Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum software delivery methodologies.

- Understanding of networking fundamentals, load balancing, DNS, SSL/TLS, firewalls, and security best practices.
