Job Description

We are seeking a high‑initiative, self‑driven Senior Audit Associate to lead backend audit operations for U.S. clients. This role requires someone who can take ownership, work independently, manage deadlines without supervision, and deliver high‑quality audit workpapers aligned with U.S. standards.

The Audit Associate will support U.S. audit engagements including workpaper preparation, testing, documentation, reconciliations, and audit evidence gathering. This is a backend role supporting U.S. CPAs with high‑quality audit execution.

Key Responsibilities \n

• Lead and execute backend audit procedures for U.S. clients
\n
• Review workpapers prepared by junior associates and ensure accuracy
\n
• Perform advanced audit testing: substantive procedures, analytical review, walkthroughs
\n
• Prepare documentation for high‑risk audit areas
\n
• Independently manage timelines, deliverables, and follow‑ups
\n
• Coordinate directly with U.S. audit managers and communicate clearly
\n
• Identify audit issues and propose practical solutions
\n
• Train and mentor junior audit staff
\n
• Maintain organized audit files and ensure compliance with firm methodology
\n
• Work in U.S. shift overlap
\n

Required Qualifications \n

\n
• CA Inter / CA Final (preferred)/CPA
\n
• 4–7 years of audit experience in CA firms or Big 4/Big 6
\n
• Strong understanding of audit methodology and documentation standards
\n
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
\n
• Excellent English communication (written + verbal)
\n
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
\n
• Experience reviewing workpapers and managing small teams
\n

Preferred Qualifications \n

• Experience with U.S. GAAP or U.S. audit processes
\n
• Experience in international audit support teams
\n
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, CaseWare, or other audit software
\n
• Strong initiative, ownership mindset, and problem‑solving abilit
\n
