Principal Software Engineer

Principal Software Engineer to lead the design, architecture, and development of enterprise-scale software solutions. This role is ideal for a technology leader with deep technical expertise, a passion for innovation, and a proven ability to mentor engineering teams while driving engineering excellence.

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will influence technology strategy, define architectural standards, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available software solutions.

- Provide technical leadership across multiple engineering teams.

- Develop and review high-quality, maintainable, and reusable code.

- Drive architecture decisions, coding standards, and engineering best practices.

- Mentor senior engineers and technical leads.

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA, DevOps, and Business teams.

- Lead system design reviews and technical discussions.

- Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.

- Guide cloud-native application development and microservices architecture.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.

- Participate in technical hiring and engineering capability development.

- Ensure software complies with security, governance, and compliance standards.

Required Skills:

- Expertise in Java, C#, Python, Go, or Node.js.

- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, and SOLID principles.

- Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.

- Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized deployments.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Knowledge of distributed systems, caching, messaging systems, and databases.

- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management BE/B.TECH

- Certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or Cloud Architecture are preferred.

- Experience with AI-enabled development tools and cloud-native platforms is an advantage.

- Experience leading enterprise-scale digital transformation projects.
