Role Overview:
As a Technical Product Owner at Bacancy, you will serve as the bridge between complex business requirements and high-performing engineering teams. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, managing the backlog, and ensuring that the technical implementation aligns perfectly with client expectations. By working closely with stakeholders to understand market needs and collaborating with developers to translate those needs into actionable user stories, you will directly influence the quality and delivery speed of our software solutions, ensuring that every feature released provides tangible value to the end user.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate high-level business goals into detailed technical requirements and user stories to provide clear direction for the development team.
- Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and project timelines to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Facilitate communication between non-technical stakeholders and engineering teams to resolve ambiguities and maintain project momentum.
- Monitor the development lifecycle and conduct regular reviews to ensure the final output meets the defined acceptance criteria and quality standards.
- Analyze user feedback and market trends to iterate on product features, ensuring the solution remains competitive and relevant.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable documentation for cross-functional teams.
- Strong proficiency in Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate priorities and manage expectations in a client-facing environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and user metrics to drive informed product decisions.
- Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, providing a solid foundation for technical discussions.
- Proven capability to work effectively in an on-site environment in Ahmedabad, fostering collaboration through direct team interaction.
