Key Result Areas and Activities :

- Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements : Collaborate with business teams to capture and translate business requirements into actionable deliverables.

- Requirements & Solution Design : Gather & translate complex business requirements into scalable Tableau dashboards and visualizations that drive data-driven decision-making, ensuring dashboards are intuitive, structured, and meet stakeholder priorities.

- Architecture and Design : Lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise-wide Tableau analytics solutions, and collaborate with data engineers and database administrators to optimize data sources and ensure efficient data integration.

Essential Skills :

- Proven ability to translate complex business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories.

- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to act as a liaison between business and technical teams.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and succinctly.

- Experience working in a global delivery model with effective onsite-offshore collaboration.

- Hands-on expertise in Tableau (Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Tableau Prep, Tableau Online).

- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex data integration and Tableau-related issues.

- Experience in performance tuning of Tableau dashboards and server environments.

- Strong command over SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).

- Experience working with cloud data warehouses, especially Snowflake.

- Ability to conduct requirement gathering sessions, workshops, UAT, and user training.

- Strong analytical skills to support data querying, insights generation, and business problem-solving.

- Proactive mindset to identify gaps, improvement opportunities, and process enhancements.

- Ability to manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, with timely escalation.

- Understanding of data security, compliance, and governance standards within analytics environments.

Desirable Skills :

- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery.

- Hands-on experience with other BI tools like MicroStrategy.

- Experience in handling BI migration projects.

- Background in the retail industry is a strong plus.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Masters degree is a plus).

- 9+ years of experience in BI, primarily in Tableau Development.

- 5+ years in Tableau architecture handling complex projects.

- Exposure with retail BI experience (Good to have).
