Computer Vision Engineer - C++/Python

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Vision Engineer to join our core engineering team in Noida, focused on pushing the boundaries of autonomous systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and deploying sophisticated vision pipelines that enable machines to perceive, interpret, and interact with complex environments.

You will work in close collaboration with robotics and software engineering teams to translate high-level autonomy requirements into robust, real-time algorithms. Your work will directly influence the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our autonomous platforms, ensuring they perform seamlessly in dynamic, real-world scenarios.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and optimize high-performance computer vision algorithms to enhance the perception capabilities of autonomous systems.

- Execute precise camera calibration and sensor fusion workflows to ensure high-fidelity data acquisition for navigation modules.

- Implement efficient path planning and obstacle avoidance logic to improve the decision-making speed of our autonomous agents.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate vision-based feedback loops into existing navigation stacks, directly impacting system responsiveness.

- Refactor and port prototype algorithms into production-grade code to ensure scalability and stability across our hardware fleet.

- Conduct rigorous testing and performance benchmarking to validate algorithm accuracy under diverse environmental conditions.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated proficiency in Python and C++ for developing high-performance, production-ready computer vision applications.

- Strong command over OpenCV and related libraries for image processing, feature extraction, and object detection tasks.

- Proven ability to design and implement complex algorithms for autonomous navigation and path planning in unstructured environments.

- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on solving non-trivial geometric and mathematical problems related to camera calibration.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical challenges and propose innovative solutions to stakeholders.

- A collaborative mindset, comfortable working in an on-site environment in Noida, contributing to a fast-paced, iterative development cycle.

- A solid academic foundation in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field, with a track record of applying theoretical knowledge to practical engineering challenges.
