Inviting applications for the role of F&A - Collections Specialist - Business Analyst!, Finance!
In this role you are responsible for managing and executing the collections process to ensure timely recovery of outstanding debts. This role involves contacting customers, negotiating payment arrangements, and maintainingaccurate records to minimize bad debt and optimize cash flow.
Responsibilities
Contact delinquent customers via email, telephone and remind them of overdue payments.
Review account histories to determine appropriate collection strategies.
Negotiate payment plans or settlement agreements to facilitate account resolution.
Monitor and follow up on payment arrangements to ensure compliance.
Document all collection activity accurately in the system.
Escalate accounts as necessary, including handing over to legal or external collection agencies.
Reconcile accounts and resolve billing disputes that may impact collections.
Resolving disputes by coordinating with internal teams and maintaining clear communication with customers.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions.
Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to debt collection.
Generate reports on collection activities and status of accounts.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
Experience in collections, accounts receivable, or customer service
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, NetSuite, MS Dynamics, Oracle, and GetPaid
