As a Senior Business Data Analyst, your role involves contributing to a team that is improving the business efficiency of a Fortune 200 Company. This new position within the Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD) provides an exciting way for an experienced Data Analyst to evaluate market trends and deploy actionable sales and business tactics that will improve efficiency and drive revenue growth.
You will rapidly comprehend intricate business challenges and opportunities, transform them into statistical analyses, and share the outcomes with customers having diverse technical backgrounds. You will be challenged to develop new analytic capabilities for a wide variety of projects while working closely with cross-functional teams to identify revenue and lead opportunities, recommending the best sales and marketing actions.
What will you do?
- Drive strategy and revenue growth through data-driven approaches to support the CMD business across global, regional, various business units, and product lines.
- Leverage analytical and statistical skills to translate data into insights that enhance business processes.
- Develop data-driven business solutions that use advanced statistical methods for cultivating sales and marketing tactics.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and opportunities for market growth and expansion.
- Analyze large datasets and communicate meaningful interpretations for informed decision-making.
- Use domain business knowledge to organize content and effectively communicate product recommendations via commercial and digital channels.
- Define key performance indicators to evaluate program performance.
- Evaluate performance metrics and suggest ideas for program improvement.
- Embrace and champion a data-driven culture, the value of the program and develop training resources to supplement organizational learning objectives.
- Own and design data governance with cross function team, such as IT, finance, marketing, sales and service support team.
- Act as a liaison for cross-divisional partners, the Center of Excellence, and CMD Division to drive the program vision and values forward.
- Refine and automate existing tools and processes.
- Effectively respond to requests for ad hoc analyses.
How will you get here?
Bachelor's Degree plus 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Sales, Product or Customer analysis and applying advance predictive algorithms, MBA preferred.Business analytics knowledge required; pricing or marketing / commerical analytics a plus.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with conducting statistical analysesExperience with SQL Server, SPARK, Python, Databricks and / or visualization tools (Power BI)Exposure to a variety of operating systems and computing platformsFamiliarity with , Eloqua, IBM Cognos systems, Databricks, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience PlatformUnderstanding of Pharma, Biopharma, Environment, Food, Academic market or laboratory product portfolio and process is a plusKnowledge, Skills, Abilities :
