Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead and coordinate vehicle-based
system integration projects involving radar systems, human–machine interfaces (HMI),
shelters, and trailer-mounted subsystems. The role involves close collaboration across
mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineering teams to deliver fully integrated
mission-ready platforms for defense and homeland security applications.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in systems engineering and project
execution, with hands-on experience managing the integration of sensors, power systems,
communication networks, and operator consoles onto vehicles or mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end program management for vehicle-mounted radar systems, shelters,
and trailer integrations.
Plan, monitor, and control project deliverables — ensuring adherence to scope,
schedule, cost, and quality targets.
Interface with defense customers, vehicle OEMs, and internal engineering teams for
configuration, testing, and validation.
Oversee the system integration process, including mechanical mounting, electrical / data
interconnects, and compliance testing.
Define and manage integration test plans, including FAT / SAT and user trials.
Maintain program documentation — schedules, risk registers, configuration control,
and design reviews.
Manage vendor coordination for fabrication, wiring harnesses, mechanical mounts, and
auxiliary systems.
Ensure compliance with defense quality and safety standards (MIL-STD, JSS, DAP-2020).
Drive continuous improvement in project execution, integration processes, and cross-
functional communication.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Systems Engineering.
Master’s preferred.
8–15 years of experience in managing system integration programs for military or
industrial vehicles, shelters, or mobile platforms.
Proven experience with radar systems, EO / IR sensors, command & control units, and
power distribution subsystems.
Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, mechanical mounting, power management,
and data interface protocols.
Familiarity with defense procurement processes, user trials, documentation, and QA / QC
requirements.
Demonstrated success in stakeholder and vendor management, and ability to work in
cross-functional environments.
Strong communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
Desirable Skills
Experience in Defence Mobility Systems, Command & Control vehicle integration, or
Shelterized radar systems.
Exposure to Autonomous Vehicle Control, HMI design, and Ruggedized computing
platforms.
Understanding of CAD-based integration layouts and system wiring diagrams.
Familiarity with industrial licensing, DGQA / DGAQA processes, and site-level system
acceptance.
