Business System Analyst

Position Summary :

The Junior BSA supports Asia RO in enabling and strengthening market Data Governance Councils through research, requirement analysis, market intelligence, stakeholder engagement, and feature planning. The role serves as the analytical engine that supports informed roadmap decisions and helps markets operationalize governance priorities.

Key Responsibilities :

Market DGC Support :

- Support markets in setting up and running Data Governance Councils.

- Help prepare agendas, discussion points, and meeting materials.

- Track council decisions, actions, owners, and follow-ups.

Governance Operations :

- Coordinate with market stakeholders on governance priorities.

- Support role mapping for Data Owners, Stewards, and Custodians.

- Monitor progress against agreed governance actions.

Research & Analysis :

- Research data governance best practices and market operating models.

- Analyze market inputs and identify common support needs.

- Prepare simple insights to support Asia RO & Reporting :

- Maintain council trackers, action logs, and status updates.

- Create summary reports and presentation materials for reviews.

- Document governance processes, templates, and market progress.

Required Skills :

- 36 years of experience in Data Governance, Business Analysis, Data Management, or Product Analysis.

- Experience with requirements gathering and stakeholder interviews.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Understanding of :

1. Data Catalogs

2. Metadata Management

3. Data Quality

4. Data Governance Frameworks

- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Jira and Agile delivery.

- Knowledge of Collibra, Atlan, Alation, Purview, or Informatica.

- Foundation knowledge of Data Management principles.
