Interior Design Trainer

Role Description The Interior Design Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hadapsar Pune City. This role involves planning and delivering engaging interior design training sessions, workshops, and studio classes to learners at various skill levels. The trainer will develop and refine curricula, create instructional materials, and integrate design thinking principles into practical projects and assignments. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating learner progress, providing constructive feedback, mentoring individuals on design portfolios, and collaborating with the academic or training team to continuously improve course content. The Interior Design Trainer is also expected to stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices to ensure that training remains relevant and high-quality.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Design Thinking skills to guide learners through creative problem-solving and user-centered design processes.
• Candidates should possess Curriculum Development and Instructional Design skills to structure effective interior design programs and learning materials.
• Candidates should possess Teaching and Training skills to deliver clear instruction, facilitate hands-on practice, and support diverse learning styles.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in classroom or studio-based teaching, coaching, or mentoring in design disciplines.
• Proficiency with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools) and knowledge of current interior design trends and standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple classes, projects, and assessment activities effectively.
