Director Solutions Delivery

Job Responsibilities:

Management and Leadership of Teams: 30%

• Supervise a team of business analysts, developers, technical leaders, technical managers, and business analyst managers responsible for Duck Creek Policy applications.
• Mentor and develop team by guiding on technical pathways ensuring the growth of the team's technical capabilities while fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Provide leadership in resource allocation, and defining continuous improvements around people, process and technology.

Stakeholder Communication and Strategic Initiatives: 15%

• Regularly communicate with senior management and IT stakeholders to assess needs, prioritize team's bandwidth, discuss on team's aspirations, skill indexes and align with stakeholder's strategic decisions/strategies.
• Participate in discussions with stakeholders on the roadmap, plan and help in executing customer strategic initiatives as directed and track the progress across all.
• Lead monthly business review meetings with stakeholders and discuss the monthly business & release outcomes, along with the trends across production tickets and discuss ways to reduce the ticket count.
• Drive tool discussions to garner customer systems relevance across.

Budget and Resource Management: 25%

• Oversee the budgeting and financial planning for Duck Creek Policy system-related projects, ensuring staffing is adequately available and as per contractual SLAs with customer.
• Ensure that the gross margin across the project is maintained

Reporting to Senior Leadership: 15%

• Provide regular executive-level reports on the progress of Duck Creek Policy system projects, highlighting achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
• Advise senior management on risks, opportunities for process improvements, and the future direction of policy system technology.

Organization Practice Initiatives: 15%

• Participate in RFIs across other Duck Creek accounts/projects and solution Duck Creek policy systems
• Participate in Duck Creek conference to help support business sales team in establishing newer logos/accounts
• Participate in market benchmarking of organization wide roles based Duck Creek salary inputs.
• Provide technical feedback on tools created for better efficiency and effort reduction across Duck Creek systems and suggest on
• Oversee the implementation and optimization of Duck Creek Claims solutions, ensuring they meet the specific needs of the organization.
• Determine strategies for platform upgrades, technological advancements, and system integration.

Key Requirements:

• 18+ Overall experience with Development or Business SME background.
• 5+ years experience in P&C domain.
• 5+ years experience project management and delivery
• Delivery and Project management of at least 2 PAS team with 30+ team size.
• Experience with onshore and offshore engagement models.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude, multitasker, should be able to work under stressful situations
• Excellent team management skills
• Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent will be preferred
• Good understanding of SDLC and waterfall/agile project methodologies
• Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
• Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
