Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Lead QA Engineer with strong expertise in Loan Management Systems (LMS). The role requires deep functional understanding of the end-to-end lending lifecycle, along with hands-on experience in test automation and AI-driven testing approaches.

The ideal candidate will contribute to delivering high-quality, scalable, and compliant lending products, ensuring robust validation of complex financial workflows and integrations.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Functional Testing (Core Focus) :

Perform end-to-end testing of Loan Management System workflows, including :

- Loan origination to servicing lifecycle

- Underwriting (Business Loans, Retail Loans, SCF, Term Loans)

- KYC/KYB and third-party integrations

- Disbursement (single & tranche-based)

- Repayment schedules & amortization validation

- Payment ecosystem (manual + automated)

- Payment apportionment logic

- Accounting & ledger validation

- Foreclosure and pre-closure processing

- Interest in computation and recalculation scenarios

- NPA classification and handling

- Regulatory and compliance validation

2. Test Design & Execution :

- Analyze BRDs, FSDs, user stories and convert them into detailed test scenarios

- Executive : Functional testing, Integration testing, Regression testing, UAT support

- Validate complex financial calculations and workflows

3. Defect & Quality Management :

- Log and track defects in Jira

- Drive defects to closure with proper RCA

- Participate in triage discussions and release readiness

4. Automation & CI/CD :

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Playwright / Selenium

- API automation frameworks

- Integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred)

- Focus on regression suite optimization and faster releases

5. AI-Driven Testing (Differentiator) :

- Use AI tools for test case generation, test optimization, self-healing automation, and defect prediction / impact analysis

- Contribute to AI-first QA initiatives and frameworks

Technical Skills :

Functional :

- Strong LMS domain knowledge (Mandatory)

- End-to-end understanding of lending lifecycle

- SQL (data validation)

- API testing (Postman)

- STLC & defect lifecycle

Automation :

- Experience with Playwright / Selenium

- API automation

- CI/CD exposure (Jenkins preferred)

AI Exposure (Preferred) :

- Experience with AI-based testing tools

- Knowledge of GenAI-based test generation, MCP / AI test frameworks (good to have), and exposure to AI-driven test management systems

Good to Have :

- Fintech / NBFC / Banking domain experience

- Performance testing (JMeter or similar)

- Understanding of regulatory compliance

- Cloud exposure (AWS/GCP)

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

- Ownership mindset and delivery focus

- Effective communication and stakeholder management

- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-release environments
