About the Role

Capri Global is looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing data engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in building scalable data pipelines, designing ETL workflows, and working with modern cloud-based data platforms. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining robust data solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient ETL/ELT pipelines.

- Build and optimize data ingestion frameworks for structured and unstructured data.

- Develop high-performance data processing solutions using Python and Databricks.

- Work extensively with AWS services to build cloud-native data solutions.

- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.

- Optimize data models, workflows, and pipeline performance for reliability and scalability.

- Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and security across data platforms.

- Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements.

- Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.

Required Skills

- 4-6 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer.

- Strong programming skills in Python.

- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services.

- Strong working experience with Databricks.

- Solid experience in designing and developing ETL/ELT Pipelines.

- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts.

- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.

- Knowledge of data modeling and data transformation techniques.

- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.

- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience with big data processing frameworks is an added advantage.

- AWS certifications or Databricks certifications will be preferred.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
