Chief Technology Officer

About the Company :

Our client is a leading technology-led NBFC focused on enabling credit access for underserved businesses. With a strong digital operating model and rapidly growing lending platform, the company is investing in technology, data, AI, and customer journey transformation to support its next phase of growth.

Role Overview :

Reporting to the COO and working closely with the MD, the CTO will lead the organization's technology strategy, digital transformation agenda, and overall technology operations. The role oversees a 60+ member technology team and will be responsible for strengthening lending platforms, technology governance, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Applications & Lending Platforms (Core Focus) :

- Lead technology across LOS, LMS, Collections, CRM, ERP, and related lending applications.

- Drive customer journey digitization, automation, and platform modernization.

- Manage technology delivery through strategic vendor partnerships.

2. Infrastructure & Security :

- Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), networks, cybersecurity, and IT operations.

- Lead enterprise security and risk management through the CISO function.

3. Governance & Transformation :

- Own technology governance, PMO, vendor management, SLA governance, and technology investments.

- Drive digital transformation, AI adoption, analytics, and process automation initiatives.

- Act as a strategic technology advisor to the leadership team and Board.

Candidate Profile :

- Engineering graduate; MBA preferred.

- 15+ years of technology leadership experience.

- Current or recent CTO, CIO, Head of Technology, or a strong CTO-1 profile.

- Strong experience in NBFCs, FinTechs, or Retail Financial Services.

- Deep understanding of lending technology including LOS, LMS, Collections, CRM, and digital customer journeys.

- Experience managing large technology ecosystems, strategic vendors, cloud platforms, information security, and enterprise transformation.

Preferred Technology Exposure :

- LOS : Newgen/ Nucleus/ Salesforce/ Lentra

- LMS : Qualtech miFin/Nucleus/ Lentra

- CMS : Credgenics

- ERP : Microsoft Navision

- Cloud : AWS / Azure
