AI Application Engineer - Machine Learning

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AI Application Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise-grade AI-powered applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern web technologies, cloud-native application development, and DevOps practices, along with hands-on experience building Generative AI (GenAI), LLM, RAG, and agent-based solutions. This role requires a strong foundation in software engineering, secure application development, and Azure cloud services to deliver scalable and production-ready AI applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise AI-powered web applications and microservices.

- Build scalable frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

- Develop robust backend services and APIs using Node.js and Python.

- Design and deploy cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure services.

- Develop and manage RESTful APIs, ensuring secure authentication, authorization, and API governance.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.

- Build and operationalize AI solutions using LLMs, GenAI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agents.

- Integrate enterprise applications with Azure services such as App Service, Azure Functions, Container Apps, API Management, Key Vault, Managed Identity, and Azure Monitor.

- Implement secure software development practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.

- Monitor application performance using logging, observability, and incident management tools.

- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative AI-powered business solutions.

Required Skills :

- Bachelor's degree in B.E./B.Tech, MCA, MBA (Information Systems), Computer Science, or a related field.

- Experience building enterprise web applications, APIs, and microservices.

- Experience implementing DevOps practices using :

- Strong understanding of application architecture and software engineering best practices.

- Experience with REST API design, service-to-service authentication, authorization, and API governance.

- Knowledge of secure SDLC, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and application security.

- Experience implementing logging, monitoring, observability, and production support processes.
