Requirements

SAP MDG Specialist – Key Responsibilities

• Master Data Governance & Modeling
  
• Configure and manage SAP MDG across Material, Vendor, Customer, and Finance domains.
  
• Design and maintain data models to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
  
• Define governance rules and standards for master data management.
  
• Workflow Configuration & Process Support
  
• Develop and optimize workflows for master data creation, validation, and approval.
  
• Ensure smooth execution of governance processes across multiple domains.
  
• Collaborate with business teams to align workflows with organizational requirements.
  
• · ERP/S4HANA Integration
  
• Support integration of SAP MDG with ERP and S4HANA systems.
  
• Ensure seamless synchronization of master data across enterprise applications.
  
• Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate with IT teams for resolution.
  
• Data Quality & Governance Frameworks
  
• Implement governance frameworks to enforce data quality, compliance, and security.
  
• Monitor master data processes and proactively identify areas for improvement.
  
• Conduct audits and ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.
  
• Incident Management & Optimization
  
• Provide support for incident resolution related to master data processes.
  
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  
• Optimize system performance to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  
• Training & Stakeholder Engagement
  
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and onboarding programs for end-users.
  
• Drive adoption of SAP MDG solutions across business units.
  
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful implementation.
  
• Continuous Improvement
  
• Stay updated on SAP MDG product enhancements and industry best practices.
  
• Recommend process improvements to strengthen governance and data management.
  
• Document standards, methodologies, and best practices for long-term sustainability.
