Senior Siemens Teamcenter Upgrade & Migration Developer

Role Summary

CloudZen Innovations is seeking a highly experienced Senior Siemens Teamcenter Upgrade & Migration Developer to lead enterprise-scale Teamcenter modernization programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience executing complex upgrades, migrating large PLM environments, resolving upgrade compatibility issues, and delivering production-ready Teamcenter solutions for global manufacturing customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Teamcenter upgrade and migration projects across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
  
• Perform upgrade impact analysis, customization remediation, schema validation, and production cutover planning.
  
• Upgrade Teamcenter environments (TC10/11/12/13/14+) with minimal business disruption.
  
• Develop and enhance Teamcenter customizations using ITK, SOA, BMIDE, Active Workspace, REST APIs, Workflow Handlers, Property Methods, and Extensions.
  
• Execute PLM data migration for Items, BOMs, Datasets, Forms, Workflows, and Classification data while ensuring data integrity.
  
• Resolve compatibility issues related to BMIDE templates, deprecated APIs, Active Workspace, Java versions, databases, and operating systems.
  
• Deploy and manage Teamcenter environments using TEM, FMS, FSC/FCC, Dispatcher, Pool Manager, and Multi-site configurations.
  
• Optimize Teamcenter performance through SQL tuning, server configuration, cache optimization, and log analysis.
  
• Collaborate with solution architects, infrastructure teams, and customer stakeholders during upgrade planning and execution.
  
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment procedures, rollback strategies, and post-upgrade validation reports.
  

Mandatory Experience

• 12+ years of Siemens Teamcenter development experience.
  
• Hands-on delivery of multiple enterprise Teamcenter Upgrade & Migration programs.
  
• Strong expertise in BMIDE migration, custom code remediation, Active Workspace upgrades, and TEM-based deployments.
  
• Experience with Teamcenter 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14+ environments.
  
• Proven experience executing production cutovers, rollback planning, and post-upgrade validation.
  
• Strong knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, deployment topology, and performance tuning.
  
• Experience integrating Teamcenter with NX, SAP/ERP, MES, and other enterprise systems.
  
• Excellent troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and customer-facing communication skills.
