Job Summary

The SAP PLM Technical Lead is responsible for leading the technical design, development, integration, and support of SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. This role acts as the technical authority for SAP PLM implementations, ensuring scalable and high-quality solutions that meet business requirements across product development, engineering, manufacturing, and quality management processes.

The Technical Lead collaborates with business stakeholders, solution architects, functional consultants, developers, and integration teams to deliver SAP PLM enhancements, integrations, and transformations, particularly in SAP S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Leadership

• Gather and analyze business requirements from engineering, manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP PLM solutions.
• Provide subject matter expertise on SAP PLM processes and best practices.
• Support process harmonization across global business units.

Technical Leadership

• Lead the technical design and implementation of SAP PLM solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Review and approve technical specifications, developments, and code quality.
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and enterprise architecture standards.

Technical Architecture

• Design integrations between SAP PLM and:
• SAP S/4HANA
• SAP ERP ECC
• SAP ECTR (Engineering Control Center)
• CAD Systems (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, CATIA, NX)
• SAP MDG
• SAP IBP
• SAP MES
• Third-party Product Data Management (PDM) systems
• Lead API, middleware, and cloud integration initiatives using SAP BTP, CPI, and Integration Suite.

Develop interfaces using:

• APIs
• OData Services
• IDocs
• BAPIs
• SAP Integration Suite/CPI
