We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner who combines strong recruitment expertise with business partnership, talent assessment, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Role Purpose
This is not a traditional recruiter role. As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be a trusted advisor to business leaders and hotel HR teams, responsible for attracting, assessing, and securing high-quality talent for frontline and supervisory positions across The Oberoi Group. Beyond hiring, you will help strengthen workforce stability through candidate engagement, talent pipeline development, and ownership of new hire success during the first 90 days of employment.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for frontline and supervisory positions across assigned businesses.
- Drive sourcing, assessment, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding activities.
- Build proactive talent pipelines for recurring and business-critical hiring requirements.
- Ensure a seamless and engaging candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
Assessment & Selection
- Conduct structured competency-based interviews using approaches such as STAR and STAR(T).
- Evaluate candidates against role requirements, behavioural competencies, service orientation, and cultural fit.
- Provide objective and evidence-based hiring recommendations.
Stakeholder Partnership
- Partner closely with business leaders and HR teams to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities.
- Conduct effective intake discussions and challenge assumptions constructively where required.
- Provide market insights, hiring recommendations, and talent availability updates.
New Hire Success & Retention
- Support workforce stability by maintaining engagement with new hires during their first 90 days.
- Monitor early retention indicators and proactively identify risks.
- Partner with business and HR stakeholders to improve joining outcomes and reduce early attrition.
- Participate in new hire review discussions and support retention-focused interventions.
Talent Pipelines & Employer Branding
- Develop sustainable talent pipelines through sourcing initiatives, referrals, campuses, and hiring events.
- Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives.
- Build talent communities for future hiring needs.
Process Excellence
- Maintain accurate recruitment data and reporting.
- Track hiring effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of a high-performing Talent Acquisition function.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- 5–8 years of recruitment experience in hospitality, BPO, retail, telecom, aviation, healthcare services, logistics, or other service-led industries.
- Strong expertise in end-to-end talent acquisition and candidate assessment.
- Experience conducting competency-based interviews.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong sourcing and talent pipeline development capability.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret recruitment data and drive action.
- Proficiency in ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and MS Office.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
