Experience: 3–4 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator (MEP) to manage the end-to-end procurement process for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, and coordinating the timely delivery of materials required for HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, and Utility systems, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and project timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for MEP materials and equipment.
• Source and evaluate suppliers for HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, and Utility projects.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate favorable commercial terms.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, and site teams to understand material requirements.
• Track order status and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain procurement records.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project specifications.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Resolve supply chain issues, delays, and material discrepancies.
• Analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of MEP materials and procurement processes.
• Experience in purchasing HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, and Utility system components.
• Vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, or procurement software.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience working in MEP contracting, construction, or engineering companies.
• Understanding of project procurement planning and cost control.
