Sr. Content Developer - AC level

We are looking for a highly skilled and independent Senior Content Developer to create and manage user documentation for our internal software. This role involves transitioning our existing PDF documentation into a modern, interactive help center using tools like MadCap Flare or Adobe RoboHelp.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal-facing technical documentation, such as user guides and training materials, for software developers, administrators, and configurators.
• Transform existing PDF documentation into an interactive, user-friendly help center using XML authoring tools.
• Collaborate with SMEs and project managers to ensure the accuracy and quality of documentation.
• Proactively acquire in-depth knowledge of our software and processes.
• Manage an online repository of documentation, ensuring timely updates and adherence to deadlines.
• Continuously enhance documentation quality by suggesting improvements to the style guide, templates, and processes.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in English, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
• 3.5 to 6.5 years of experience in technical writing and user documentation for software products.
• Proficiency in XML-based authoring tools like MadCap Flare or Adobe RoboHelp is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and communicate complex technical concepts.
• Experience with API documentation and creating training materials is an advantage.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with web-based software development or platform development.
• Work samples showcasing user documentation, preferably for technical software.
