Manager - GL Accounting

As a Manager - GL Accounting, you will be an integral part of the finance team, reporting to the Head of Shared Services. You will be responsible for managing financial controls, compliance, audits, and reporting while ensuring the smooth operation of accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Compliance

• Oversee financial controls, cost management, and compliance with financial regulations.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax professionals to finalize financial statements.
• Ensure timely preparation, filing, and reconciliation of TDS returns.
• Assist in internal and external audits to maintain compliance and transparency.
• Monitor internal controls to safeguard against fraud and financial discrepancies.

Accounting & Reporting

• Streamline accounting functions and operations to enhance efficiency.
• Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports in the required format.
• Coordinate with internal teams on finance-related matters.
• Support budgeting processes and provide financial insights for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and prescribed accounting procedures.
• Handle additional assignments as per the reporting manager's requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Professional qualification in finance or accounting.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in controllership, financial management, and compliance.
• Strong communication and email skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.
• Experience working in an ERP environment (preferably MS Navision or SAP) with month-end closures.
