Manager / Sr. Manager - Project Management

Job Details :

• Role will require non-conventional project management drive to ensure diversified organization level operational strategies are effectively being driven by respective stakeholders and liaison cross functional deliveries in such a way that organization is able to maximize the strategy implementation efforts.
• Role required to work closely with research and development teams, R&D project management teams to ensure that critical, high priority programs are being effectively executed.
• Need to work closely with commercial teams, finance, supply chain to have dynamic holistic view of organizational priorities and ensure that R&D activities are aligned.
• Responsible for management dashboards of overall R&D operations. R&D will cover API R&D, Formulation R&D, Biopharma R&D, Clinical Development for all regions.
• Role required to work closely with supply chain, production, quality, regulatory to ensure that there are minimal penalties, minimal out of stock situations, minimal expired inventory losses.
• It will need to constantly study the supply situations and liaison cross functional executions to achieve these objectives.
• It will be required to evaluate various open capex requests, new infrastructure project requests to ensure that there are required detailing available including appropriate justification, ROI workings, demand forecasts.
• It will need to work closely with user groups and CFT teams to ensure such activities are completed prior to management review.
• It will be required to effectively monitor the execution of all ongoing infrastructure projects and engage with projects leads to understand detailed status, challenges, solutions as well as activities post mechanical execution such as qualification, regulatory audits, readiness of product pipeline to fill up the newly created facilities.
• This role will be responsible to ensure fast track progress and no delays of strategic priority projects which are directly managed by the managing director’s office.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

• This role will be required to have in-depth understanding of above detailed functions, maintain live management dashboards, prepare meeting minutes, strategy notes, meeting briefs, consolidate vast information reaching the desk of our Management through Management Office.
• This role success will be evaluated based on in-depth involvement in assigned operations, adding speed to priority programs, resolving cross functional challenges and ensuring that any burning issue is brought to the attention of Management.
• It must be highly agile to accept any nature of assigned program and self driven.

Core Competencies

• Minimum 2 years of corporate strategy experience, with a focus on diverse business operations.
• Strong presentation skills and advanced expertise in MS Excel.
• Familiarity with modern visual dashboards and data analytics platforms is a plus.
• Experience in project management is preferred.

Relevant Functional/Technical Skills or Industry Experience

• Must have more than five years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Prior experience working with senior management is required.
• You should have worked in corporate strategy function for at least 5 years

Relevant Professional / Educational Background:

• B.Pharm, M. Pharm, M. Sc., PhD in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biological sciences
• A management degree from a recognized institution is must.
