Job Summary:

The Landside Operations Manager is responsible for managing and executing landside transportation activities including the movement of cargo and containers through road and rail transport. The role ensures efficient safe and compliant operations while supporting service delivery operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan coordinate and execute landside transportation operations involving truck and rail movements.

• Monitor daily transportation activities to ensure timely and cost-effective cargo movement.

• Ensure compliance with company policies industry regulations and safety standards.

• Identify investigate and resolve operational issues while minimizing service disruptions.

• Coordinate with internal departments transport providers terminals customers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.

• Analyze operational data and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency productivity and service quality.

• Maintain accurate operational records reports and documentation.

• Support process optimization initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement programs.

• Provide guidance coaching and knowledge sharing to less experienced team members when required.

• Participate in projects and operational initiatives aimed at improving transportation performance and customer experience.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Transportation Business Administration or a related discipline.

• Relevant experience of 8-10yrs in landside transportation logistics supply chain or freight operations.

• Strong understanding of truck and rail transportation processes and operational best practices.

• Knowledge of transportation regulations safety standards and compliance requirements.
