Product Marketing Specialist – Airtel Business Africa
Experience
4–5 years of product marketing experience in B2B technology/SaaS is mandatory. Experience in telecom or enterprise technology will be an added advantage.

You will help shape how Airtel Business Africa brings its portfolio to market—conceptualizing product launches, building product launch toolkits, sales playbooks, use cases and OEM co-marketing frameworks that enables seamless product GTM & execution with greater speed, confidence and impact.
Working at the intersection of marketing, product, sales, you will translate product capabilities into compelling customer value, equip field teams to sell more effectively and help turn product launches into measurable adoption, pipeline and revenue.
This is an opportunity to influence product commercialization across 14 African markets—not simply by creating positioning, campaigns, content, but by building the playbooks and processes that power growth at scale.
What you will do
- Own product marketing and field enablement across all 14 Airtel Business Africa OpCos.
- Build and maintain a library of customer use cases, mapped to local market realities, priority industries, customer segments and business challenges.
- Lead end-to-end product launch readiness, including positioning, messaging, sales playbooks, customer-facing collateral, training and launch toolkits.
- Translate technical product features into clear customer value propositions, differentiated messaging and commercially relevant use cases.
- Operationalize the product campaign engine—from product factory output and launch planning to in-market activation across OpCos.
- Create scalable 'campaign-in-a-box' toolkits that OpCos can activate across email, digital, social media, events and sales outreach.
- Coordinate OEM and technology-partner co-marketing programmes, including joint planning, campaigns, content and market activation.
- Partner with product, sales, commercial, marketing and OpCo teams to drive launch alignment, execution and adoption.
- Support the stage-gate product launch process and track commercial outcomes, including enablement readiness, campaign performance, pipeline, product adoption and revenue contribution.
- Identify best practices across markets and convert them into repeatable frameworks that improve execution across the Airtel Business Africa ecosystem.
What we are looking for
- 4–5 years of relevant product marketing experience in B2B technology or SaaS. Telecom or enterprise connectivity experience is preferred.
- Extremely Articulate: Ability to communicate the core points in simple, clear & memorable way. ability to write simple, non-verbose yet creative headlines (for webpages, ads & slides). Ability to derive vertebrae points & communicate/showcase them in the best way possible.
- Demonstrated experience in managing end-to-end product launches and working against commercial metrics such as adoption, pipeline and revenue.
- Experience with stage-gate or structured product launch processes.
- Strong ability to translate complex product features into clear value propositions, differentiated messaging and compelling customer use cases.
- Experience working in a global, regional or multi-market environment, with the ability to adapt central strategies to local market realities.
- Proven experience in field sales enablement within a multi-product environment.
- Hands-on experience creating sales playbooks, launch collateral and integrated regional campaigns across email, events, digital and social channels.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across product, sales, marketing, commercial teams, OpCos and external partners.
- Comfort working with both technical and value-led content.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, content management systems, content creation tools, project management platforms and interactive video tools.
- Practical proficiency with AI tools for research, content creation, campaign development, productivity and marketing execution.
- A strong bias for action, commercial thinking and the ability to bring structure and momentum to complex, multi-market initiatives.
