Senior Data Developer- SAP CI-DS

Location - Gurugram

Summary

TWe are looking for a skilled SAP CI‑DS Consultant with 5-8 years of experience in data integration and ETL development using SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services (CI‑DS). The candidate will be responsible for building scalable data integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems, supporting cloud transformation initiatives

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data integration workflows and data flows using SAP CI‑DS
• Implement ETL processes for data migration, replication, and synchronization
• Integrate SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, BW, BW/4HANA, IBP etc.) with cloud/on-prem systems
• Configure and manage datastores, connections, and agents
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from diverse data sources
• Develop and maintain custom transformations and reusable components
• Ensure data quality, cleansing, and validation rules
• Monitor and troubleshoot data jobs, failures, and performance issues
• Support data migration and system integration projects
• Collaborate with business teams for data mapping, logic, and requirements
• Prepare technical documentation, mappings, and test cases
• Participate in SIT, UAT, and production support

Essential Functions of the Role

• Communicate effectively via email, phone, and virtual platforms.
• Adhere to company policies, including those related to ADA, data privacy, and ethics.
• Maintain secure handling of sensitive information.

Education & Work Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5-8 years of related experience

Education & Work Preferences

• 5-8 years of experience in SAP Data Services / SAP CI‑DS
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing
• Data flows, workflows, tasks, and projects
• Transformations (Query, Join, Lookup, Case, Validation, etc.)

• Experience integrating:

  SAP ↔ SAP systems (Specifically S/4 HANA, BW/4 HANA, IBP)

  SAP ↔ Non-SAP systems
