Company Description Kirti Publications is a leading educational publisher with a strong presence across India, providing a wide range of high-quality books to schools nationwide. The company specializes in books and notebooks for all curriculums, including Kindergarten, EVS, and Aesthetics Art series from Nursery to Grade 12. Its English Grammar, Hindi Grammar, and Cursive Writing series are widely appreciated and trusted by schools. To keep pace with evolving educational methods, Kirti Publications offers comprehensive digital support through CDs, mobile apps, and e-books. A team of professional authors, illustrators, graphic designers, and artists ensures that all learning materials are thoughtfully designed and aligned with curricular requirements.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Gurgaon. The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining relationships with schools and educational institutions across assigned territories. Daily activities include meeting prospective and existing clients, presenting the company’s range of educational books and digital solutions, conducting product demonstrations, and negotiating pricing and contracts in line with company policies. The role involves preparing sales proposals, following up on leads, tracking orders, and coordinating with internal teams for timely delivery and customer support. The Sales Executive will also monitor market trends, gather feedback from clients, and contribute to sales reporting and planning to help expand the company’s reach.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated sales, business development, and client relationship management skills, preferably in publishing, education, or related industries.
  • Ability to conduct effective product presentations, negotiations, and closing of sales with school administrators and decision-makers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in spoken and written English; knowledge of Hindi or other regional languages is an advantage.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, including territory planning, visit scheduling, and accurate sales reporting.
  • Comfort with basic digital tools and applications, including MS Office and mobile apps; familiarity with educational digital content is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior field sales experience and willingness to travel within assigned regions.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented approach, with a commitment to ethical, quality-focused service.
