Position: Accounting & Finance Executive

Department: Finance & Accounts

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter

Experience: 1–3 Years

Job Summary

TechBlocks is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting & Finance Executive to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, bookkeeping, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy and adherence to statutory requirements. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of finance and accounting functions in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting

    • Record and maintain accurate accounting entries in the general ledger.
    • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
    • Prepare and analyze financial reports and management information (MIS).
    • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
    • Ensure accuracy of financial records and maintain supporting documentation.
Taxation & Compliance

    • Assist in the preparation and filing of TDS returns and GST returns.
    • Support Form 16 generation and quarterly TDS compliance.
    • Prepare reconciliation statements and working papers for tax filings.
    • Assist during statutory, tax by providing required documentation.
Bookkeeping & Reconciliation

    • Process day-to-day accounting transactions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
    • Perform vendor, customer, bank, and credit card reconciliations.
Required Qualifications

    • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter.
    • 1–3 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
    • Sound understanding of accounting principles.
    • Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
    • Working knowledge of Zoho Books or similar accounting software will be an added advantage.
