Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:Manage a team of software engineers overseeing the development of software products and with cross-functional teams to define project requirements ensuring successful project completion and customer mentorship and guidance to team members for their professional growth conducting performance evaluations and career development in formulating and implementing the software engineering strategy participating in strategic planning and technical discussions and design reviews ensuring software architecture and design are and optimize resource allocation project schedules and identify and mitigate risks resolving issues that could impact project a culture of innovation continuous improvement and collaboration within the team.

Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree in a relevant field (i.e. Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experienceTypically 8 years of relevant work experience in industry with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role years of experience in software engineeringProficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies Strong programming and debugging skillsProven experience in a leadership role including project and/or team managementStrong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practicesExcellent communication and team management skillsProven ability to lead and deliver software projects effectivelyStrong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilitiesOther Qualifications:Advanced degree in a related field is a plusRelevant certifications or training a plus
