As a business application consulting generalist at PwC you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis implementation training and support.

Role Summary
Ownendtoendsolution design and delivery onFinacle or OracleFlexcube(FCUBS)for retail banking acrossdeposits retail lending and payments. Lead parameterization governance integrations data migrationnonfunctionalassurance and release readiness. Partner with Business Operations Risk/Compliance and IT/Vendors to deliver compliant scalable solutions withhigh STPlow defect leakage andproduction stability. Mentor junior consultants andestablishbest practices.

Responsibilities

• Convert business goals intosolution designsandFSD/TSD covering product setup accounting/GL limits charges user roles/controls and E2E customer journeys.

• Governconfiguration/parameterization(schemes/products interest/charges GL mapping) ensurechangetraceability regression scope and environment consistency.

• Architect andvalidateintegrationswith channels and third parties (APIs/REST/SOAPMQfile/batch); define error handling idempotency reconciliation and retry strategies; manageEOD/BODimpacts.

• Drivenonfunctionaloutcomes: performance baselining capacity planning resiliency (HA/DR) security/entitlements/SoD and observability (logs/alerts/dashboards).

• Plan and leadSIT/UATandcutover: authorriskbasedtest scenarios (reversals chargebacks/returnspreclosures reschedulesNPA/IRACtaggingholiday/calendar edge cases) manage defect triage to closure and ensure deployment readiness.

• Createdata migrationstrategy and validations (trial loads dry runs control totals GL balancing); perform SQL/PLSQL checks and Unix/shell log analysis; support production incident RCA.

• Ensure compliance withRBI KYC/AML FATCA/CRS NPCIguidelines; embed makerchecker/foureyescontrols and audit trails across configurations and processes.

• Leadincident/problem management(ITIL) reduce P1/P2 incidents and drive continuous improvement; track release metrics (defect density/leakage STP performance SLAs).

• Mentortechnofunctionalconsultants/developers; conduct solution walkthroughs trainings and thorough documentation handovers (BRD/FRD configuration workbooks SOPs SLAs traceability).

Mandatory skill sets:

• AnyPostgraduate/Professional degree

• 69 yearsas atechnofunctionalconsultantonFinacle or OracleFlexcube(FCUBS) leadingmultimodulechanges (deposits/lending/payments).

• StrongSQL/PLSQLUnix/shell and core banking data model knowledge;handsonwithAPI/MQ/batchintegrations and reconciliation.

• Proventrack recordinUAT/goliveleadershipcutover planning andproduction stabilization.

• Solid understanding ofregulatory/compliancerequirements:RBIKYC/AMLFATCA/CRSNPCI(payments) andIRAC/NPAnorms.

Preferred skill sets:

• Finacle: Experience withFinacle Integrator (FI) custom components/reports and performance tuning.

• Flexcube: Deep understanding ofFCUBS/OFSdata model; experience withparameter migrationand release packaging; familiarity withOBDX(digital channels).

• Paymentsexpertise(UPI/IMPS/NEFT/RTGS) reconciliation & settlements; awareness ofISO 8583andISO 20022mapping.

• Familiarity withDevOps/CICDpractices Git/SVN; tools such asJira/ConfluenceServiceNow(or equivalent).

• Certifications (ITIL/PMP/PRINCE2/Scrum) andLean/Six Sigmamindset.

• StrongExcel&PowerPointfor management communication and governance forums.
