Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst (Data) who can go beyond numbers - someone who understands client needs, translates unstructured business problems into analytical solutions, and takes ownership of delivery end to end. This is a client-facing role that requires equal parts technical depth and communication ability.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement and Delivery

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing expectations and ensuring timely delivery
• Engage directly with clients to understand and articulate unstructured or ambiguous problem statements into clear analytical briefs
• Present findings, insights, and recommendations to clients in a clear and structured manner
• Ensuring that all Client deliverables are timely, error free, and exceed client expectations, including models, reports, BI platform, etc.
  
  

Data Analysis

• Analyze large and complex datasets from power sector sources including exchanges, regulators, generation and distribution companies
• Review raw data as well as final output for accuracy, consistency, and business relevance
• Identify trends, anomalies, and patterns relevant to power market dynamics
  
  

Model and Output Review

• Review AI/ML models from a business perspective - assess whether outputs are aligned with the problem statement and are fit for client use
• Maintain and monitor existing models to ensure continued accuracy and relevance
• Identify gaps and recommend improvements in models and analytical frameworks
  
  

Project Management

• Manage multiple analytical projects simultaneously, tracking timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 2–5 years of experience in a business or data analyst role, preferably in the power or energy sector
• Proficiency in Python is mandatory; SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) are required
• Ability to independently understand and reframe unstructured problem statements
• Strong client-facing and communication skills - written and verbal
• Experience reviewing AI/ML model outputs from a business lens
• Detail-oriented with a high standard for data quality at every stage - raw to final output
• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
