Responsibilities:

• Preparing complex Private Equity Hedge Fund and/or FoF partnership tax returns
• Detailed review and analysis of Tax returns
• Performing documenting and summarizing research and conclusions regarding specific tax issues
• Develop motivate and train staff level and intern team members
• Interact directly with clients handling questions planning concerns etc.
• Remain up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Commerce Accounting or related field
• 1 years of experience in business taxation working for a Big 4 or a large national regional or local accounting firm; or equivalent in industry or with a law firm
• Must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam CA EA
• Experience preparing and reviewing returns
• Working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
• Ability to work closely with clients to answer questions or to collect necessary information for tax service requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters of Accounting Masters of Taxation or MBA preferred
• Active CPA EA CA
• Strong technical skills in accounting tax preparation and review within the Asset Management industry
