Job Description

Role Overview: Lead application software development, technical design, and support across multi-platform systems, including requirements gathering, BRD/SRD preparation, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and document application systems.
• Execute test plans, automation suites, and performance benchmarks.
• Write efficient, secure code and troubleshoot systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide junior engineers.
• Ensure system security, compliance, and continuous improvements.
• Deliver on product roadmap priorities and manage team escalations.
• Oversee dependencies, write JIRA stories, gather requirements, and validate testing results.
• Support agile team progress and performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7–9 years of experience in software development (financial services experience is a plus).
• Knowledge of Middle Office services, trade processing, and accounting.
• Experience with asset classes (Equity, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, Cash) and market utilities (Markit, CTM, SWIFT).
• Proficiency in Oracle/SQL, JIRA, microservices architecture.
• Strong technical expertise in C#, Java, NodeJS, JavaScript, Spring, and Docker.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
