Management Information Systems (MIS) Executive

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Executive to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and analyze data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making within the organization. The ideal candidate should possess advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, along with a strong understanding of databases and information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain MIS reports utilizing Excel, Google Sheets, and other reporting tools.
• Analyze complex data sets to generate meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Create dashboards and data visualizations to present key findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with departments to understand data requirements and improve data quality.
• Identify trends and opportunities for process improvements based on data analysis.
• Monitor data accuracy, integrity, and security.
• Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from various teams.
• Automate repetitive tasks using macros or scripts to improve efficiency.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of information systems and databases.
• Train and support users on data tools and systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as an MIS Analyst or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of database management systems (SQL knowledge is a plus).
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving aptitude and a continuous improvement mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in relevant data analysis or database management fields.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
