System Administrator (L2 L3)

Position Overview

• We are looking for a skilled and proactive System Administrator (L2–L3) to manage hybrid IT infrastructure including on-premises and cloud environments.

• Primary responsibilities include Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, Azure administration, Commvault backup management, and LAB environment maintenance.

• The role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle escalations while aligning with ITIL and ISO 27001 standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.

• Manage Hyper-V infrastructure including VM provisioning, clustering, and performance optimization.

• Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune).

• Manage Azure infrastructure including VMs, networking, and identity & access management (IAM).

• Administer and manage backup & recovery solutions using Commvault.

• Ensure backup integrity, perform regular restore tests, and manage disaster recovery readiness.

• Manage user lifecycles including onboarding, offboarding, and license assignments.

• Setup and maintain LAB environments for testing and project requirements.

• Monitor system performance and handle L2/L3 escalations.

• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and ITIL practices.

• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting.

• Collaborate with IT teams for infrastructure and cloud projects.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Hyper-V Virtualization (must-have)

• Backup & Recovery Administration (Commvault)

• Microsoft 365 Administration • Azure (VMs, Networking, IAM)

• Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO)

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in system administration.

• Experience managing hybrid (On-Prem + Cloud) environments.

• Basic understanding of Linux and networking fundamentals.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ISO 27001 standards.

Preferred Certifications

• Azure Administrator Associate

• Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator

• Commvault Certification (preferred)

• Windows Server / Hyper-V Certifications

• ITIL Foundation
