Bp's customers & products (C&P) business area is setting up a business and technology centre (BTC) in Pune, India. This will support the delivery of an enhanced customer experience and drive innovation by building global capabilities at scale, demonstrating technology, and developing deep expertise. The BTC will be a core and connected part of our business, bringing together colleagues who report into their respective part of C&P, working together with other functions across bp. About the Role:

The Licensing Advisor is responsible for partnering within the business to provide compliance services, advice to effectively manage any impact on business licensing and registration. The Advisor will also assist with procuring, renewing all business-related licenses for retail sites, to include management of licenses on company software and data bases. The Advisor will assist with the compliance of zoning laws and will assist with the management of regulatory enforcement actions, payments and store communications. The advisor will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely licenses renewals

Shift timings: 3 PM to 12 AM (IST)

What you will deliver:

1. To ensure renewal of the licenses and permits as per its due date and expiration dates
2. Obtain all necessary documentation necessary for timely license renewals form and license application for various parts of the business.
3. Engage with various entity corporate officers for signatures on licensing documents
4. Communicate with the business on new sites, construction and remodels, which may require additional or new licenses.
5. Act as point of contact for stores with licensing requests or license copies.
6. Engage with the bp stores to ensure timely reporting which may have an impact on licensing renewals.
7. Assists with ongoing improvement of licensing processes
8. Distinguish between documents, example invoices, certificates, permits / Licenses, violation notices and changes in government rules & regulations
9. Customer service skills ensuring to communicate with the government authorities & vendors about any enquiries

What you will need to be successful:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or information systems.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant business experience in licensing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Very analytical and good attention to detail.
• Should also be good with below skill sets:
• Regulatory and compliance knowledge
• License lifecycle management
• Documentation accuracy
• Data management, reporting and dashboards
• Analytical thinking

You will be part of a small but agile team responsible for compliance of the company retail sites
