Assistant Manager- Finance (Indirect Tax)

Drive Excellence in Indirect Taxation

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented tax professional to join our Finance – Taxation team. The incumbent will be responsible for managing end-to-end GST compliance, audits, assessments, and tax-related statutory requirements across multiple states in India. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, sound knowledge of indirect tax laws, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders while ensuring timely and accurate compliance.

What You'll do

• Giving guidance to different internal and external stake holders for Tax related matters.
• Prepare and execute tax planning initiatives and support the development of effective tax strategies.
• Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including tax computation, payment, and timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B).
• GST reconciliations - books vs. GSTR-2B, GSTR 1; Tax GLs with accuracy and filing Returns within the prescribed time limit.
• Generate and monitor E-Way Bills and Delivery Challans, ensuring proper utilization and compliance.
• Reconciliation of GSTR 6A and filing of ISD Returns.
• Reconciliation of annual data with financials and filing of annual returns with accuracy and within prescribed time limit.
• Coordinate and support GST audits, departmental assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Draft and submit responses to GST notices and queries received from tax authorities.
• Books Keeping and archival of old records.
• Provide guidance and advisory support on indirect tax matters to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated with changes in GST legislation and ensure timely implementation of regulatory updates.

What You’ll Bring

• Must be MBA / CA/ CMA.
• 6-8 years of experience in GST and Indirect Taxes.
• Good knowledge of Indirect Tax Laws.
• Good interpretation skills of Law.
• Strong communication skills.
• Efficient Computer skills of MS Office Specifically Excel and Power Point.
• Capable to perform under pressure and can handle PAN India Compliances.
• Must be a good Team Player and having potential to Learn and Grow.
