Job Description: Robotics Engineer (Hardware Verification)

Responsibilities

Understand product requirements and create appropriate verification test cases for hardware, firmware and middleware modules against the requirements.
Execute functional tests, performance tests, reliability tests, regression tests for the module under test.
Create and maintain a comprehensive documentation for test results having traceability with updates and changes.
Analyse test data, identify performance trends and recommend areas for improvement.
Debug hardware issues using physical observations and log analysis.Support on-site remote Hardware support teams in hardware troubleshooting.
Participate in root cause analysis and work closely with developers in issue resolution.

Requirements

Bachelors/Masters degree in the following engineering disciplines - Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical engineering, preferably from a reputed institute.
0-2 years of work experience in electro-mechanical product verification and testing.
Strong debugging skills for electro-mechanical modules and systems.
Hands-on experience of hardware log analysis.
Exposure to Linux and python based modules.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent documentation skills and ability to communicate effectively.
Capacity to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Experience in working with systems having hardware-software integration will be an added advantage.
Prior experience in the mobile robotics industry will be an added advantage.
