Position

Accounts Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure compliance with statutory and financial regulations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles taxation payroll basics and financial record management.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate books of accounts and accounting records.Prepare and process journal entries invoices receipts and payment vouchers.Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.Calculate deduct and file Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) in compliance with applicable regulations.Assist in the preparation and filing of Income Tax returns and related documentation.Prepare and reconcile Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns and ensure timely statutory compliance.Process payroll by applying the basics of payroll including salary calculations statutory deductions reimbursements and payroll records.Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.Assist in monthly quarterly and annual financial closing activities.Coordinate with auditors tax consultants and government authorities during audits and assessments.Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with internal financial policies.Generate financial reports and provide support for management decision-making.

Required Skills

Knowledge of TDS calculations deductions and return filing.Understanding of Income Tax provisions and compliance requirements.Basic knowledge of Payroll processing and statutory deductions.Working knowledge of GST including invoicing reconciliation and return filing.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (such as Tally ERP/TallyPrime or similar ERP systems).Good analytical numerical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Commerce () Accounting Finance or a related field.13 years of experience in accounting taxation or finance (freshers with strong academic knowledge may also be considered).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Tally ERP/TallyPrime or other ERP/accounting software.Familiarity with statutory compliance and financial audits.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
