Business Systems Specialist

To bridge the gap between business objectives and IT solutions by analyzing complex business processes, eliciting detailed requirements, and defining robust system specifications within Global Payments. This role involves collaborating with diverse stakeholders to identify business needs, propose creative solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of critical IT projects.

What Are We Looking For in This Role

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field; or equivalent training or experience in lieu of a degree.
• Professional experience working with end-users to meet business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Scripting knowledge.
• Bankcard industry knowledge.
• Understanding of data structures.
• Working towards a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification.

• Problem Solving: A seasoned, experienced professional with strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability for problem resolution based on a broad base of business knowledge.
• MS Office & Flowcharting: Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Familiar with several common drawing techniques using Visio or UML.
