Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Knowledge of various aggregates used in automotive (Sheet metal, Plastic, Rubber, Electrical, Electronics, Casting and Forging)
• Special emphasis on Electrical and Electronics and exposure to new technology and trends
• Knowledge of special process such as plating, welding, PCB technology etc
• Knowledge of raw material rates, standards and trend across industries
• Should be able to cost the product based on drawing / circuit input
• Should establish pricing strategy for Key and Critical components and suppliers to protect Bill Of Material (BOM) costing
• Knowledge of Taxes (Domestic and Import) must and its impact on Bill Of Material (BOM) costing
• Develop a team of competent Cost Engineers to generate project Zero Base costing
• Maintain and Track multiple project's BOM Cost
• Evaluate and Budget impact on BOM cost due to currency and Commodity inflations
