SITE QUALITY SUPPLIER PROFESSIONAL

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development Phase

• Lead and facilitate supplier development to meet PO Automotive Systems Requirements Manuals.
• Drive improvements in quality, cost, and delivery performance through the APQP process.
• Conduct supplier quality and process evaluations, and manage Supplier Onsite Process Approvals (SOPA).
• Ensure timely PPAP approval per project requirements.
• Manage supplier rating systems and monthly reporting of Supplier PPM scores.
• Lead Supplier Quality Management Reviews (SMQR) Level II and support plant-level reviews.
• Implement and manage Level II Containment Procedures.

Product Production Phase

• Ensure smooth transfer from Supplier Quality Development to Plant Supplier Quality.
• Monitor supplier performance ratings monthly and schedule follow-up audits and reviews.
• Champion supplier PPM reduction initiatives, addressing poor-performing suppliers and critical issues.
• Lead Supplier Improvement Audits and SOPA until closure of actions.
• Train and mentor Plant Supplier Quality Engineers.

Other Responsibilities

• Train and mentor Supplier Quality Engineers.
• Support new project supplier quality activities.
• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives at suppliers (Kaizen, Six Sigma, VA/VE).
• Maintain supplier quality documentation including performance records, evaluations, and containment activities.
• Support internal customers including Program Teams, Logistics, Commodity Buyers, QE, SQE, and manufacturing plants.
• Ensure compliance with all work rules, policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Contribute to Integrated Management System (IMS) for quality, safety, and environment standards.

Profile Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Technical field.
• Experience: >5 years in Quality, Process Engineering, and Supplier Quality; experience in APQP and PPAP required. Management or leadership exposure.
