Job description
  • Scaling and Polishing: Removal of plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth to prevent gum disease.
  • Root Canal Treatment:
  • Diagnose tooth pulp infection or inflammation.
  • Remove infected pulp tissue.
  • Clean, shape, and disinfect the canal.
  • Fill and seal the root canal.
  • Place a crown or filling for tooth restoration.
  • Cavity Filling & Restoration.
  • Tooth Extractions & Minor Oral Surgeries.
  • Oral Health Education & Preventive Care.

Nursing Activities (Dental/Clinical Setting)

  • Assisting in Dental Procedures (e.g., suction, passing instruments).
  • Preparing & Sterilizing Equipment.
  • Patient Preparation & Education.
  • Monitoring Vital Signs during procedures.
  • Post-operative Care & Instructions.
  • Maintaining Medical/Dental Records.

Doctor Activities (General Practitioners or Specialists)

  • Diagnosis & Treatment Planning based on symptoms and test results.
  • Prescribing Medications for infections, pain, etc.
  • Referral to Specialists (e.g., Endodontists for root canals).
  • Monitoring Chronic Conditions (diabetes, which impacts dental health).
  • Providing Anesthesia Clearance for complex dental procedures.
  • Patient Counseling & Health Education.
