Special Application Engineer

• Educational Qualification: BE / ME : Mechanical / Automobile / Production
• 60% above in academics

Responsibility:

• Vehicle integration and Packaging: Truck Special Application solutions development through product lifecycle management.
• The candidate would need to interact and align with global group companies and external partners for Special applications and component development. Aligning and documenting Design Reviews.

Requirements:

Must Have:

• Good knowledge commercial vehicle types , categories and relevant Global legislation,
• Good knowledge in commercial special applications and integrations
• Good Knowledge in vehicle level aggregates, component , system Design and validation requirements
• Knowledge in Body building for different applications
• Basic Know how in Product development processes and design methods- like DFMEA, DFA, FMEA .
• Good knowhow of maintaining design documentation in PLM as well as generate a Bill of material.
• Basic Knowledge of GDT.
• Good in CATIA V5 modules
• Flexibility for international travel
• Good interpersonal skills, presentation skills, good communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of working experience in PLM: Wind chill, OAS
• Experience in working with German Automotive companies / Suppliers.
• Languages: Basic German
