Role Overview :
As an Engineering Manager at Nutran EV Mobility, you will lead an elite team of software engineers tackling deeply complex computational and architectural challenges. Your primary focus will be designing and implementing the core algorithmic engines and distributed systems that dictate how autonomous pods navigate, coordinate, and scale. You will collaborate closely with Business managers, Electrical and VCU Engineers, and other engineering teams to bridge heavy backend logic with real-world infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities :
- Algorithmic Core Development: Design and implement advanced, production-grade algorithms for routing, scheduling, queue management, and dynamic re-routing.
- Solve Hard Computational Problems: Tackle NP-hard optimization problems, advanced graph theory challenges, and complex pathfinding algorithms (e.g., A-, Dijkstra, multi-agent pathfinding) to orchestrate real-time fleet behavior.
- Architect Distributed Systems: Scale a high-performance, event-driven Node.js backend for TMS (Launch Control, Jobcard Manager, Pod Allocation, Passenger Flow) using robust concurrency models and microservices.
- High-Fidelity Simulation: Develop Python/FastAPI-based simulation systems capable of running large-scale parallel simulations to stress-test real-time traffic control, safety logic, and mathematical models.
- Bridge Software & Hardware: Translate highly complex operational and mathematical rules into efficient code, aligning simulation environments with embedded, real-time on-ground systems.
- Cloud-Native Orchestration: Deploy and manage highly resilient, scalable microservices using Docker, Kubernetes, and major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Required Skillset :
1. Exceptional DSA & Algorithmic Problem Solving :
- Elite Problem-Solving Foundation: A mastery of advanced data structures, graph theory, spatial indexing, and network flow optimization.
- Complex Algorithm Design: Proven experience solving NP-hard scheduling, bin-packing, or dynamic vehicle routing problems under strict real-time constraints.
- Mathematical & Simulation Modeling: Strong expertise in Python (FastAPI) for building heavy mathematical models, parallel processing, and algorithmic simulation validation.
2. High-Scale System Design & Architecture :
- Distributed Systems Mastery: Deep understanding of system design patterns, state management, consistency models, and high-throughput, fault-tolerant microservices.
- High-Concurrency Backends: Expert-level knowledge of Node.js/python, event-driven architecture, and optimizing for high-concurrency and low-latency throughput.
- Cloud & DevOps Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and robust CI/CD pipelines for managing distributed cluster states.
3. Real-Time & Control Systems :
- Proven experience building real-time systems, traffic management systems, industrial automation engines, or complex logistics/scheduling control platforms.
Good to Have :
- Background in autonomous vehicles, mobility, EV platforms, or robotics.
- Experience with embedded real-time systems integration or hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
- Exposure to GPU computing, parallel processing, or edge computing (CUDA, NVIDIA Jetson).
